Why Tria Technologies? And why now?

Our OEM customers are in a time of change. As they seek to reduce the complexity and risk in their manufacturing, but still maintain that essential speed to market, we are increasingly being asked to support on projects with a far wider, more integrated scope. But each had three things in common: compute boards, plus design and manufacturing services. It made sense to bring these capabilities into one place, giving a greater ease of access to our existing and new customers, and allowing them the peace of mind to focus on long-term innovation. Tria Technologies is proud to have world-class experts located across our [X] technology campuses, who can design both standard and highly customized compute products. Our new and streamlined structure means that we can also take customers from prototyping to design to mass production even faster than before.

Tria Technologies: proudly part of the Avnet family

We are in a privileged position to be able to combine our own global design and manufacturing capabilities with those of Avnet’s worldwide network. The business will remain a wholly owned subsidiary of Avnet, connected to Avnet’s global distribution network as well as collaborating with Avnet’s other solutions businesses.

As more OEMs look to offload risk and outsource complex manufacturing, they are moving to a modular approach with minimal compromise in size or capability. Avnet, through Tria, is uniquely positioned to help customers deliver on this strategy.
